This exhibition explores the Voodoo heritage in Haiti. The religion, born from an amalgamation of West African traditions and popular beliefs, was perpetuated by the natives who were taken and sent away to the Caribbean for slavery. True rampart against the brutality imposed by colonialists of the Western world, and hope of returning to the promised land, the practice of voodoo has shaped the identity of Haiti since the 17th century.

In 2019 Andy Long was invited to Haiti by first Lady Martine Moise and the exhibition itself consists of images and videos from this trip, in collaboration with Haitian designer Helmer Joseph. Helmer revisited Haitian history of dark magic and used 1000 voodoo dolls to produce a couture collection of dresses, hats, capes and other accessories.
